This Campaign Editor Tutorial is divided into 4 main sections. It is recommended (though not required) that you go through the tutorial sections in order, as the information in later sections builds on the information discussed in previous sections. There are few instances where you may need to skip ahead for more information on a particular topic, and these are clearly marked with references, usually in parentheses. ( )
Section 1: Overview is a General Description of the Editor.
Section 2: The Object Panel discusses adding objects to your mission, and how to modify and manage them. You will create a complete solar system in this section.
Section 3: Managing Objects and Triggers discusses how to use triggers to control events in your new mission, and will take a deeper look at objects and how they interact with triggers. This section builds on the same mission you created in Section 2, above.
NOTE: Sections 2 and 3 together comprise a complete single-player mission design walkthrough.
Section 4: Advanced Trigger Editing and Multiplayer Mission Scripting is a detailed look at trigger architecture, condtions and actions, and how to utilize all of the advanced trigger features, as well as discussion of Multiplayer Mission scripting. It is recommended that you do this section last.
